The Provincial Government of Bataan headed by Governor Abet Garcia recently opened a park located at the Bataan Tourism Center compound in Balanga City, Bataan.
Bataan 2nd District Representative Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia III said this project aims for a healthy lifestyle movement, physically and mentally, thus creating a holistic development for every Bataeño.
“Bataan Tourism Park is an open space where senior citizens can go for leisure, a playground for kids, and a place where families can bond,” Cong. Garcia added.
Its opening coincided with the simultaneous lighting ceremony of the said Park and the Capitol compound in time for the start of the holiday season.
“This ceremonial lighting symbolizes hope that if we continue to work hand in hand, we can overcome the challenges brought by the pandemic,” Garcia furthered.
For his part, Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia said parks in the province like this will have a great effect for the well-being of the Balanguenos.
“This aligns with the city government’s goal to make Balanga a highly-livable place,” he said.
